Khalil Smith is the VP of inclusion, diversity, and engagement at Akamai Technologies, where his team supports a wide variety of employee-focused programs and processes. Before joining Akamai, Khalil worked with NeuroLeadership Institute, a cognitive science consultancy, during which time he oversaw consulting, practices, and research. Prior to that, Khalil spent over 14 years in senior leader roles with Apple Inc. Khalil holds an M.B.A from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and a Master of Science from Columbia University in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution.
