In this training class you’ll learn how to brainstorm and develop truly valuable content ideas and put them into action to produce great results for your business. You’ll finish the class with a content creation playbook that you can use over and over again.

You’re familiar with the Inbound Methodology, buyer personas, and the buyer’s journey. You know how to blog, create website pages, emails, and social messages, but you’re not quite sure what all of those pages, emails, and messages should actually be about. You’ve admired it when companies like HubSpot publish lots of helpful content on a regular basis, but you’re not sure where to start when it comes to identifying what content might be most effective for your inbound efforts — nor how to plan and create it on a regular basis.

Meet the Professor

Lindsay Thibeault (LinkedInTwitteris a Senior Inbound Professor for HubSpot Academy. She has a background in traditional marketing and attended the University of New Hampshire. Previous to joining HubSpot, Lindsay has worked in both an agency setting and an internal marketing department and helped build out and execute brand strategy and community engagement using digital marketing. She teaches classes to HubSpot customers on content creation, website optimization, blogging, analytics/reporting, and much more.

Agency Positioning and Targeting Workshop | $699

Training Overview

Participate in this half-day, hands-on workshop to get an overview of the market for inbound services and how you can differentiate yourself by exploring case studies from some of the most successful HubSpot partners in the market. You will use HubSpot’s Partner Business Evaluation Tool to compare your current agency metrics against Gold and Platinum Tier Partners. You will then create a differentiation strategy working with some of our top sales and marketing pros from the partner program. Draft an ideal client profile and learn how to use HubSpot’s Prospect Fit Matrix tool to zero in on the ideal clients for your agency. The workshop concludes with lead research. You’ll emerge from this session with a plan and a jump start down the road toward a more targeted strategy and better-fit clients.

Attendee Persona

Business owners, those responsible for making decisions on agency go to market strategy. This is particularly suitable for agencies that have taken HubSpot’s Partner Certification training (not necessarily currently Partner Certified) and are looking for more help putting the theory into practice.

Meet the Professor

In March 2013, Nick was joined the HubSpot Academy Team where he is now Academy's Partner Training Program Leader. His role is to help develop and deliver training that educates and inspires our HubSpot Partners. Nick now manages production for HubSpot's Partner Inbound Success Training and administers HubSpot's official Partner Certification exam to hundreds of HubSpot Agency Partners each year.

Luke’s focus at HubSpot is to help partner agencies achieve their peak level of performance while using HubSpot and Inbound Marketing. He does this as the Partner Program Manager. Luke performs research and works with both partner agencies and the internal HubSpot team in order to engineer scalable and efficient programs that drive results.

COS Design and Development I | $129

**Open to any developer or designer attending INBOUND.

Training Overview

This training will focus on developing an understanding of how the HubSpot COS works on a fundamental level. Participants will learn how the different parts of the COS fit together from a design standpoint and grasp the many levers which can be pulled when building custom website designs. We will also explore in depth the ways developers and designers can translate skills honed on other CMS platforms to the HubSpot COS.

Attendee Persona

You’re a web designer or developer who has technical experience designing on a CMS, although you may be new to the HubSpot COS. You are interested in learning how your skills can be translated to the COS, and want to develop a basic understanding of how you can implement custom code to go beyond its built-in capabilities. You should have fluency with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

 

Takeaway

You will understand how all of the moving parts of the COS fit together and have a basic understanding of how to implement code and design on the COS.

COS Design and Development II | $129

**Open to any developer or designer attending INBOUND. 

September 8, 2015 1 PM- 4:30 PM

Training Overview

In this training, we will explore the frontier of possibilities for customizing your website on the COS. We will discuss examples of advanced implementations of custom code to inspire you to push your website to the next level. You will also learn about new capabilities in the COS that may prove useful to you when designing. This session will be especially technical and participants will be knee-deep in code during interactive discussions.  

Attendee Persona

You’re interested in learning more about advanced design on the COS and ways in which you can implement custom code to go beyond its built-in capabilities. You’ve built your fair share of websites on the COS and have a solid understanding of how it works, but have also had your share of “how do I do that?” moments when encountering more complex items. You might come to this session with questions on how to implement specific ideas on the COS. You should have fluency with HTML, CSS, and Javascript and be familiar with Jinja/HubL.

 

Takeaway

You will be comfortable working with the HubL markup language and will be able to bend the capabilities of the COS to your will.
